Stand Down for the Homeless is a project spearheaded by the Central Savannah River Area Women’s Veterans’ Club. The event will take place Thursday, October 27th. The emphasis is on homeless women and children, especially veterans. Many things will be going on, including flu shots. The ECW of each congregation can assist by providing baggies containing shampoos (12-16 oz.), deodorant, soap, and a sturdy comb OR monetary donations of $4.25 per baggie.
